What is the Neighborhood Safety Council (NSC)?

The NSC is the community voice of the NYC Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. It brings together local residents, youth, clergy, service providers, elected leaders, and NYPD precincts to build stronger, safer neighborhoods from the ground up.

Guided by the experiences of residents, the NSC builds trust, uplifts local leadership, and drives solutions that make neighborhoods safer, stronger, and more united.
